Softonic review

A free program for Android, by Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children.

The RIDBC Auslan Tutor: Key Signs is an educational tool that helps users to improve their linguistic and cognitive abilities by using the best method possible: visual and auditory learning.

The app is divided into two main parts: a training program and a dictionary.

The first part of the app is the training program. It is a learning tool that can be used for studying or practicing. In this part, the user will be able to select the words that he wants to memorize and will be able to choose between the five most common signs in Auslan, like “please”, “thank you”, “how are you?”, “yes”, and “no”. Each sign is clearly presented, with a photo of the handshape used to form the sign and a video clip demonstrating how the sign is produced.

The second part of the app is the dictionary. It is a tool that can be used to find the meaning of the words that are chosen in the training program.
